
ABOUT THE CAMP SITE
Black Mountain Scout Camp is near Bellingham. The sleeping quarters are adirondacks (cabin-like structures). See the camp map for the layout of the camp.

INFORMATION FOR CAMP
1. Departure / Arrival Information
6:00 PM, Friday, September 9th

All campers are to meet at the side parking lot of the church by 5:00 PM sharp. Belongings will be loaded into the carpool vehicles and all will leave promptly at 5:30 PM.
We will return to church at 3:30 PM on Sunday. Please arrange to be picked up at that time.
2. What to Bring - Snacks to share
- Sleeping bag with small pillow rolled into sleeping bag
- Sleeping mat (there are no beds at camp, so a sleeping mat will be more comfortable)
- Flashlight
- Extra clothes (shirts, shorts/pants, underwear, socks, hat, jacket, pajamas, etc.)
- Shower sandals
- Tennis shoes
- Personal hygiene items (towel/wash cloth, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, lip balm, etc.)
- Sunscreen/Sunblock
- Bug spray
- Small first aid kit (if you have one); if not, then aspirin, allergy relief and any other medications you might need
- Pen/pencil
- Musical instrument (optional)
- Camera (optional)
- Great attitude! :)
3. Camp Expectations
We are excited for the weekend and want to ensure a safe and fun environment for all campers. We ask that you will:
- Be on time.
- Have an open mind and be willing to meet new people.
- Stay out of restricted areas.
- Have a good time!
We also ask that you will not:
- Use your cell phone while at camp. Please enjoy the outdoors and each other's company instead.
- Have food/snacks in the sleeping quarters. You don't want to be bunking with animals. Snacks brought to share with the group will be left in Dining Hall.
- Absolutely no use of drugs/alcohol is permitted.
4. Directions
For those who will be driving to Fire Mountain Camp, please see below for directions. Please be there promptly at 8 PM.

Baker Hwy. (SR-542) to Maple Falls. Turn left on Silver Lake Rd.
and continue north for about 5 miles. The camp entrance is on
the right side of the road.
